§ 157.2 Fire safety

Pursuant to subdivision 3 of section 4604 of the Education Law, the superintendent of schools and the person administering and supervising adult continuing education programs shall assure that notification is provided to participants in adult continuing education classes of the emergency procedures to be followed in the event of fire. Such notification shall be provided during the first meeting of the class or, for classes in progress on September 20, 1986, during the next class meeting after such date. Such notification shall include, but need not be limited to, information about the fire alarm system, location of exits, means of egress, and evacuation procedures in the event of fire.
